Crazy Crate Fun

Thursday at 11 am - J.D. at John's Moving and Storage is lining our empty crate - 200 cubic feet of space, which is smaller than your bathroom.

All of this stuff needed to fit in that crate....Can you identify the guitar? How about the 10 speed bike?

3 hours later they had played 3-D tetris with all of our belongings and managed to cram the crate closed - with a little bit of help from another 200+ lb. man and about a 100 nails! We were so exhausted sitting and watching that we had to go have lunch at Zaxby's. We won't see our stuff until we arrive in Senegal sometime after March 09. Someone please remind me then that the bolt for the keyboard stand is in the clear plastic drawer.

Wii Fun

Here is my 93 year old grandmother bowling on the Wii - Ron was very patient in teaching her. It was fun to watch her simulate bowling.

Here is my sister now trying to get Grammy to get the hang of letting go of the ball at the right time. My grandmother was a good sport and is now excited about trying it at her home in Florida. We had a great time with her at the beach - it was hard for her with us wanting to spend our time in the sand and surf. She isn't that sturdy in the sand and she has had so much skin cancer that her Dr. has told her she can't be in the sun at all, but it was still great hanging out with her. Faith loved playing cards with her - we taught her a new card game that she caught on quickly to! It was awesome to see my daughter play games with my grandmother. I am glad that my kids got to spend some time with her. She is very special to me.

Love you Grammy!

Our trip to Niagara

We had a great day - it was truly majestic to see the handiwork of God. It was fun seeing it through the kids eyes. We rode the Maid of the Mist boat and it sailed us right up to the base of the falls - the mist was so powerful.
